Lucknow: Students of Amity School of Fine Arts, pursuing MFA in Applied Art and Painting, recently conducted an engaging and meaningful art activity for children of Rajkiya Bal Greh (Child Line) and girls of Rajkiya Mahila Sharnalay, fostering creativity and self-expression.
The initiative was part of the Universal Human Values Program, aimed at community service, and was carried out under the guidance of Dr. Ranjana Deane, Assistant Professor at Amity School of Fine Arts, in collaboration with Dr. Sangeeta Sharma from Human Unity Movement (NGO).
During the program, students mentored the children in creating decorative and artistic items, blending skill-building with fun and learning. The participating students — Aaradhya, Shivani, Aarti, Anamika, Vaishali, Sumaiya, Ishree, Rishika, and Charu — devoted their time and creativity, demonstrating not only artistic expertise but also empathy, compassion, and social responsibility.

The initiative successfully combined artistic expression with community engagement, leaving a lasting impact on both the students and the children, highlighting the transformative power of art in social development.
