There is no substitute for hard work,” she said, adding that success stems from determination rather than mere talent.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Amita Chauhan emphasised the role of teachers and parents in nurturing values and life skills. “Human values, sanskar and life skills cannot be taught through textbooks alone; children learn them by example,” she said, adding that a happy student leads to a happy family and, ultimately, a happy nation. She also highlighted the importance of literature and creativity in all-round education.

Students enthralled the audience with performances inspired by Rabindranath Tagore, William Shakespeare’s “As You Like It, and scenes from Harry Potter. The highlight of the evening was a courtroom drama titled “AI vs the Authors,” which examined the role of artificial intelligence in literature.

Classic authors, including Tagore, Munshi Premchand, Robert Frost, Agatha Christie, William Shakespeare, Shobhaa De, Sudha Murty and Anne Frank, were pitted against AI tools such as ChatGPT and Bard. The verdict concluded that the future lies in collaboration—where “ink and algorithms go hand in hand.” The annual function concluded on a high note with the school song and the national anthem.
