Lucknow: Sources of Planet Energy, Environmental and Disaster Science: Climate Justice and Equity-SPEEDS-2024′ was organized at the School of Management Sciences, Lucknow on June 29-30, 2024. The conference was attended by renowned academicians, social workers, environmentalists, and industrialists from across the country.
It was inaugurated by Dr. Shakuntala Devi Mishra, Vice Chancellor of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Lucknow, and Prof. Sanjay Singh, President of the Institution of Engineers (India), UP State Centre, Lucknow. Dr. CM Nautiyal, former advisor to the Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi, and other dignitaries also graced the occasion.
It was having presentations from various engineering and degree colleges, research scholars, and environmentalists on topics related to the theme. The convenor of the conference, Dr. PK Singh, said that a total of 69 paper- presentations were made, and the recommendations and proceedings would be forwarded to the government.
थे Seminar was concluded with a valedictory session, where Prof. Jagbir Singh, Director, College of Architecture, Amity University, Lucknow, was the Chief Guest. Other Guest of होनोर्स were present included Shri Sushil Kumar Gupta, Finance Officer, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and Dr. Usha Bajpai, Department of Physics, Lucknow University, Lucknow.
The institution’s secretary and CEO, Sharad Singh, congratulated the staff on the successful organization of the conference, which aimed to create awareness about environmental issues among the society.”
