Alambagh Police Rescue Two Missing Children Within Two Hours in Swift Operation

Lucknow: In a prompt and coordinated response, the Alambagh Police Station successfully traced and rescued two missing children, aged 9 and 7 years, within two hours of receiving the complaint.

According to officials, at around 12:00 pm, a visitor approached the Bus Stand Outpost under Alambagh Police Station and reported that his two children had gone missing near the Alambagh Bus Stand while boarding a bus. The children had reportedly become separated from their family in the crowd and could not be located.

Acting immediately on the information, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Cantt) Abhay Pratap Mall directed a swift search operation. Station House Officer (SHO) Ram Babu Singh formed a dedicated police team and dispatched personnel to comb the surrounding areas.

The police conducted an intensive search at all possible locations around Alambagh Bus Stand and examined CCTV footage from nearby cameras to trace the children’s movement. After sustained efforts, the team located the missing children safely at around 2:00 pm on the road between Alambagh Bus Stand and Tedhi Pulia.

The children were reunited with their parents shortly thereafter. Relieved family members and local residents expressed heartfelt appreciation for the police’s quick and effective action.

The rescue team comprised SHO Ram Babu Singh, Sub-Inspector Sandeep Kumar, Sub-Inspector Durgaprasad Pandey, Head Constable Shashibala Singh, and Constable Khushboo Singh.

Police officials reiterated their commitment to ensuring public safety and urged parents to remain vigilant in crowded public areas.
