Lucknow | Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav launched a sharp attack on the BJP government, alleging that it spreads hatred, creates division in society and protects criminals. Addressing party workers and leaders from various districts at the SP state headquarters, he said the law and order situation, health services and education system in Uttar Pradesh have completely collapsed.
Akhilesh Yadav accused the state administration of having a nexus with criminals and said, “Caste-based oppression and discrimination are at their peak under the BJP. The BJP is a deeply casteist party.”
He held the Chief Minister directly responsible for the poor condition of rivers like the Gomti. “The SP government built the most beautiful riverfront and ensured river cleaning, but the BJP ruined everything. Now, towards the end of their term, they are pretending to clean the river,” he said.
He also alleged that crimes against women and Dalits are the highest under the current regime. “In our government, we launched the 1090 Women Power Line, which was praised by the Supreme Court. The BJP destroyed it,” he added.
Yadav criticised “fake encounters” carried out by the government, stating that law and order improves not by encounters but by posting efficient officers in the field. He warned that when appointments are made on caste basis, justice cannot be expected.

He further said, “Under the BJP, no one gets justice. The poor are not receiving medical treatment. Government hospitals lack doctors, medicines and quality care, forcing patients to go to private hospitals. In the SP government, treatment and medicines were free for the poor—and they will be free again when we return to power.”
He also promised that differently-abled persons would be provided electric wheelchairs for their convenience.
Calling the removal of the BJP government essential for the future of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav said, “Without removing this government, the people will not benefit.”
Senior SP leaders including National Vice President Kiranmoy Nanda, National Secretary and former minister Rajendra Chaudhary, State President Shyam Lal Pal, MP Chhotelal Kharwar, and several MLAs and workers were present in large numbers.
