Lucknow: In a significant push toward digital governance and innovation, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) organized a two-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance administrative efficiency and transparency.
The workshop, held at the UPSDM office, was chaired by Mission Director Pulkit Khare and witnessed active participation from officials and staff members across the department.
Focus on Speed, Accuracy, and Transparency
Addressing the valedictory session, Khare emphasized that effective use of technology is becoming a key driver in improving both the speed and quality of administrative work. He highlighted that AI can significantly reduce the time spent on routine tasks such as data management, file processing, and report preparation, while ensuring greater accuracy.
He urged officials to implement the techniques learned during the workshop in their day-to-day responsibilities to achieve mission goals more efficiently.

A team of AI experts from Himachal Pradesh conducted intensive training sessions spanning nearly six hours, providing practical insights into the use of AI tools and software. Participants were introduced to methods for simplifying complex and time-consuming tasks, enabling faster and more effective execution.

A major highlight of the workshop was training in prompt engineering and automation. Employees learned how to perform rapid document analysis, accurate data entry, and seamless report generation using AI-powered solutions.
The sessions also demonstrated how AI can modernize monitoring and reporting systems, making them more robust, transparent, and digitally empowered. Officials were shown how real-time tracking and improved data handling could strengthen oversight of field operations.
