AGNIVEERS OF SIKH LI REGIMENT TOOK OATH TO SERVE THE NATION

Lucknow/Fatehgarh: The historic Chatterjee ground of SIKH LI Regiment Centre Fatehgarh witnessed the Passing out Parade of the fourth batch of Agniveers on 03 December 2024. Buoyed by duty, enthusiasm and with full of passion, 189 Agniveers became an important part of the Indian Army today after completing their 31 week military training.

Agniveer Lovepreet Singh led the Passing out Parade. Brig MK Jain Commandant of the SIKH LI Regiment Centre reviewed the parade which displayed excellent standards of drill, turnout, discipline & josh amongst the Agniveers.

While addressing the parade, the Centre Commandant highlighted the glorious history of the SIKH LI Regiment and said that you all have to become successful like your fore fathers and always serve and protect the motherland with a true heart. Army is the pride of the country, therefore your conduct, discipline and ability should be a source of inspiration for others. He advised the Agniveers to be aware of the new technological development of war and told that future wars will be based on new technology only, so the important role of technology can never be denied.

During the training, Agniveer Lovepreet Singh best in drill, Agniveer Sahilpreet Singh best in firing, Agniveer Kulwant Singh best in physical training and Agniveer Priyanshu Pal, the overall best, were decorated and honored with medals by the Centre Commandant for their excellent performance. The soldiers were excited after receiving the medal from the Centre Commandant. On the occasion of the passing out parade, the officers of the SIKH LI Regiment Centre and the family members of the Agniveers from different states were also present.
