After UPT20, Lucknow Premier League on the cards

Lucknow: After the success of IPL (Indian Premier League) and UP T20 League shows in cricket, now preparations are on for the mega show of Lucknow Premier League (LPL). This league will be organized in November under the supervision of Cricket Association Lucknow (CAL). According to the officials of CAL, the blueprint for organizing this league was drawn in the meeting held a month ago. The teams and their base price are being finalized.

According to the members of CAL, so far preparations have been made to include six teams in LPL. So far one company has given an offer for this. It is expected that after the end of UP T20 League, other companies will turn towards LPL.

The base price of a team has been fixed at Rs 1 crore. The special thing is that all the matches of LPL will be played at KD Singh Babu Stadium located in the heart of the capital. All the matches will be held under flood light at night.

CAL Secretary KM Khan said that preparations are going on for organizing LPL. There are preparations for organizing it in November.

If any other competition is held in Babu Stadium in November, it will be organized in January. This will promote cricket in Lucknow. Trainee players in the city will get a better platform for cricket competition.
