Actress Srishti Singh to Play Dr. Vaani—A Doctor Balancing Ambition and Compassion—in Sony SAB’s Upcoming Show Hui Gham Yaadein – Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyaan
Mumbai: Sony SAB is set to present Hui Gham Yaadein – Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyaan, a compelling medical drama that is the Indian adaptation of the internationally acclaimed Italian series DOC, which has been successfully adapted across several countries. The show revolves around Dr. Dev (Iqbal Khan), a brilliant doctor who loses eight years of his memory following an accident and must rebuild both his personal and professional life from scratch.
Adding depth to this powerful narrative is popular actress Srishti Singh, who will be seen portraying Dr. Vaani, a young, resilient and self-made resident doctor working at the same hospital. Dr. Vaani is highly skilled, ambitious, and emotionally strong, determined to prove her worth within the rigid hierarchy of the medical system. When she joins the hospital, she is instantly drawn to Dr. Dev—admiring his precision, discipline, and meticulous attention to detail. Initially idolising him as a role model, she gradually adopts his philosophy and principles, shaping her own approach to medicine.
What begins as professional admiration slowly evolves into a complex emotional bond. After Dr. Dev loses his memory, Vaani forges a deep friendship with him, becoming his strongest pillar of support. She encourages him to continue working at the hospital and helps him navigate life and medicine anew, standing by him with unwavering faith.
