ABVP Delegation Meets Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath; Chief Minister Assures Fulfillment of Demands

Lucknow: A delegation from the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to discuss issues related to academic chaos and improving educational quality. The meeting was confirmed in a statement issued by ABVP central media member Abhinav Mishra.

During the discussion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured the delegation that their demands would be addressed. The meeting was attended by national minister Ankit Shukla, Western UP regional organization minister Manoj Nikhra, Eastern UP regional organization minister Ghanshyam Shahi, and national executive member Srishti Singh. This engagement comes in the wake of recent disputes involving ABVP members at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University in Barabanki.

The controversy arose when police reportedly used force against ABVP members protesting alleged irregularities in the law course. Students alleged that the university enrolled them in a program that lacked recognition from the Bar Council of India, putting their futures at risk. Following the incident, four police officers were suspended, and an FIR was filed against the university.
