AAP’s Sanjay Singh Addresses Social Media Warriors in Lucknow, Vows to Counter BJP’s “Hate”

Lucknow – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Uttar Pradesh organized its “Social Media Warriors Meet 2025” at the party’s state office in Lucknow. The event saw senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh address hundreds of social media activists.

The meeting focused on strategizing for upcoming elections and effectively conveying the party’s message to the public through social media. Sanjay Singh motivated the workers, stating, “We live in the age of digital revolution. Social media is a powerful weapon for us to expose lies and spread the truth. You, the social media warriors, are the backbone of our organization.”

Singh also accused the BJP of spreading hatred through social media, asserting that AAP aims to spread love and truth. “BJP spreads hatred through social media, we spread love,” Singh said.

Former MLA from Delhi’s Timarpur constituency, Dilip Pandey, a special guest at the event, emphasized the crucial role of social media in uprooting the BJP’s “fake politics of religion, caste, and hatred.”

Former state president Sabhajit Singh urged the creation of a strong social media network from the district to booth level to expose the “false and wrong policies of the dictatorial BJP government.”

State Social Media In-charge Vipin Kumar Pathak declared that the “modern battle” will be fought on social media, with AAP exposing the government’s wrongdoings in every village.

Sanjay Singh announced that a grand social media convention, with over a thousand participants, will be held in August.

The meeting also saw the presence of state social media in-charge Vipin Kumar Pathak, chief spokesperson Vansraj Dubey, Ayodhya province president Vinay Patel, former state general secretary Dinesh Singh Patel, Buddhist province president Imran Latif, senior leader Prince Soni, state spokesperson Tarunima Srivastava, Bahraich district in-charge Isma Zaheer, district president Iram Rizvi, state co-in-charge Vikas Tiwari, state social media coordinators, and district-level social media in-charges.

Attendees received training on upcoming strategies, content creation, fact-based posting, and digital ethics.

The event concluded with the activists pledging to work tirelessly to strengthen AAP’s presence on digital platforms and achieve the party’s mission.
