Lucknow: With this inspiring thought, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Goel Campus organised a Parent Orientation Programme for the parents of newly admitted students for the upcoming academic session. The event aimed at familiarising parents with the vision, values and functioning of the school.
The programme commenced with a heartfelt welcome rooted in the rich Indian tradition. At the entrance gate, parents were greeted with a tikka on their forehead, a gesture symbolising respect, warmth and belonging, making them feel truly at home. The auspicious ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the parents along with the Chairman Mr. Mahesh Agarwal, Chairman of Goel Group of Institutions, and the Principal Dr. Rina Pathak, signifying the removal of darkness and the spread of knowledge.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Mahesh Agarwal emphasised the importance of strong collaboration between school and parents in shaping a child’s future. He encouraged parents to work hand in hand with the institution for the holistic development of their children. As the saying goes, “The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.”

The audience was then taken through the motto, values and achievements of the school by the confident students Ujjwal Mishra and Riddhiman, who presented it with pride and enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of the institution. The cultural segment added charm to the event with a graceful Ganesh Vandana followed by a melodious welcome song, creating a positive and divine atmosphere.
An engaging quiz programme was also conducted based on the brief introductions shared by the parents. The activity witnessed enthusiastic participation, adding an element of fun and interaction to the programme.
In her address, Dr. Rina Pathak warmly welcomed the parents and highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible, confident and compassionate learners. The orientation programme concluded on a positive note, strengthening the bond between parents and the school community.
