CHENNAI – The enchanting world of South Indian cinema is set to expand its reach with the highly anticipated release of “Madrasi.” From the acclaimed production house Sri Lakshmi Movies, the film is set to captivate audiences not only in Tamil and Telugu but also with its Hindi-dubbed version, “Dil Madrasi,” arriving on September 5, 2025. The film’s grand audio and trailer launch was scheduled for August 24 in Chennai, building immense hype among fans.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, a master of action and drama, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Sivakarthikeyan, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Rukmini Vasanth, Sudeep, Arun, and Shabir. The cinematic experience is further elevated by the music of Anirudh Ravichander, whose songs have already become a social media phenomenon.
The film’s music has already created a frenzy, with the chartbuster song “Salambala” crossing a massive 16 million views on YouTube. The track has become a viral sensation, inspiring over 21,000 YouTube Shorts and 10,000 Instagram Reels. Other songs like “Selvika” and “Tadpa” are also rapidly gaining traction, becoming youth favorites from Tamil Nadu to Delhi and Lucknow.
