Glowing displays to turn the park into a night-time attraction
Lucknow | Lucknow is all set to dazzle with its first-ever Glow Garden at Jogger’s Park in the Vasant Kunj area on Hardoi Road. The ₹10-crore project, spearheaded by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), was announced following an inspection by Vice Chairman Prathamesh Kumar, who reviewed the park’s redevelopment plans.
Once complete, the park will feature illuminated sculptures of trees, birds, flowers, and animals, offering a vibrant night-time spectacle for visitors. The glowing displays, combined with innovative lighting effects such as the gobo projection technique and decorative bollard lights, aim to create a unique and immersive after-dark experience.
But the transformation doesn’t stop there. The Jogger’s Park makeover will also include an open-air gym, a yoga hut featuring sculptures depicting 12 classic yoga postures, and a revamped children’s play area with new swings and equipment. Additionally, the park’s five water bodies will be beautified with new fountains, and the 800-meter jogging track will be repaired and elevated to prevent waterlogging during the monsoon.

A new northern entrance and an upgraded entrance plaza are also part of the redesign, ensuring a welcoming and modern entryway.
The LDA’s initiative is expected to make Jogger’s Park an even more popular destination for thousands of residents who frequent it daily for fitness, leisure, and recreation—offering them a chance to experience Lucknow in a whole new light.
