Sonebhadra: NTPC Rihand, a leading power generating company of Govt. of India, is proud to announce the successful launch of its NACA Technology based Paver Blocks and Tiles manufacturing. Among all the NTPC projects, NTPC Rihand is the second unit to do so and it reflects the commitment of NTPC Group towards innovation and ash utilisation.
It will produce high quality Paver Blocks and Tiles using NACA (Nano Concrete Aggregate) Technology, thereby utilising the fine ash generated from the power plant.
This initiative will not only increase the ash utilisation but will also lead to creation of eco-friendly products, which is in line with the Company’s mission of sustainable development.
In his address, Pankaj Mediratta, Chief General Manager, Project Head, NTPC Rihand said, “We are proud to launch the Paver Blocks and Tiles manufacturing program manufactured by this state-of-the-art facility, which will not only increase our ash utilization but also contribute towards achieving the target of 100% ash utilization.”
