Lucknow: In a significant move to connect students with national and corporate internship opportunities, Lucknow University’s Central Placement Cell (CPC) has invited applications for summer internships with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Aspire Consultants.
The NHAI summer internship program offers final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students in engineering, management, law, information technology, mass communication, and other disciplines a two-month hands-on experience from May to July. Selected candidates will work on projects related to national highway development, digital systems, and public infrastructure. Selection will be based on academic performance (CGPA) and candidate preferences, with a stipend of ₹20,000 per month.
Aspire Consultants is also inviting applications for management trainee internships, specifically targeting B.Com, BBA, PGDM, and MBA students. Interns will gain exposure in marketing, HR, and finance over a 45–60 day period. Selection will be through telephonic interviews, and performance-based stipends may reach up to ₹15,000. Flexible online, offline, and hybrid working modes are available.
Additionally, CPC will provide pre-internship skill development and training for students to help them meet industry expectations and maximize these opportunities.

Prof. Anoop Kumar Bhartia, Director of CPC, stated that under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jayprakash Saini, the placement cell is committed not only to employment but also to providing students with practical experience through national institutions and corporate internships. He emphasized that such opportunities enhance students’ skills, confidence, and employability.
