Lucknow— Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati on Saturday called upon party leaders and workers to begin preparations for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections with full strength, stating that little time remains before the polls and organisational readiness is crucial.
Addressing the media after an important party meeting, Mayawati said that party activities had been affected in recent months due to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, but stressed that the focus must now shift entirely to election preparedness. She urged leaders and workers at all levels to actively engage with the public and strengthen the party’s presence on the ground.
Emphasising the need for a robust organisational structure, Mayawati directed the cadre to activate the party up to the booth level and maintain continuous public outreach. She underlined that consistent engagement with voters would be key to conveying the party’s message effectively.

The meeting was attended by party functionaries ranging from zonal in-charges to assembly in-charges. Senior leaders Satish Chandra Mishra, Umashankar Singh, and Akash Anand were also present, reflecting the party’s focus on coordinated efforts and strategic planning ahead of the elections.
