Lucknow: Little Millennium Preschool, Gomti Nagar Extension, hosted its grand annual function at the Buddha Auditorium in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, creating an evening filled with joy, colour and cultural vibrance. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, educators, distinguished guests and well-wishers, turning the celebration into a truly memorable occasion.
The annual function was themed “One World, Many Rhythms,” reflecting the idea of global unity through cultural diversity. The theme came alive on stage as more than 75 young students presented a series of dance performances and short dramatizations inspired by cultures from across the world. Dressed in vibrant costumes and performing with remarkable confidence, the children took the audience on a captivating cultural journey that was both entertaining and heartwarming.


Each performance highlighted different traditions, music styles and rhythms, beautifully conveying the message of harmony and togetherness. The audience responded with loud applause, clearly impressed by the children’s expressive gestures, coordination and enthusiasm.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Deepali Kakkar, the chief guest, and Mr. Yogendra Sharma, Regional Head of Little Millennium. Both dignitaries lauded the preschool’s efforts in nurturing creativity, confidence and holistic development among children from an early age. They emphasized the importance of experiential learning and cultural exposure in shaping well-rounded personalities.

Welcoming the guests, Ms. Shikha Katyayal, Principal of Little Millennium Preschool, Gomti Nagar Extension, shared the institution’s educational philosophy. She highlighted the school’s commitment to providing a joyful, value-based and experiential learning environment that allows children to explore, express and develop their innate talents. She also appreciated the support of parents and teachers in making the event a success.

One of the most emotional and widely appreciated moments of the evening was a special father-child dance performance. The heartfelt presentation beautifully portrayed the bond between parents and children, leaving many in the audience visibly moved and earning a standing ovation.
