Lucknow: In a major step towards strengthening healthcare delivery and improving diagnostic services, the Uttar Pradesh government has approved the establishment of an Integrated Command and Control Centre for the operation and monitoring of Health ATMs across the state. The centre will be set up at a cost of ₹25 crore, with the budget formally approved by Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak.

The Deputy Chief Minister said the new command and control centre will enable efficient, real-time monitoring of Health ATMs, ensuring better services for patients. Health ATMs provide essential diagnostic tests including pathology investigations, blood pressure measurement and other basic health check-ups. With improved supervision and coordination, the initiative is expected to reduce the patient load at hospitals and make diagnostic facilities more accessible to the public.

Brajesh Pathak said that centralized monitoring through the Integrated Command and Control Centre will help ensure the smooth functioning of Health ATMs, timely maintenance and better quality of services, ultimately benefiting patients across the state.

Strengthening Dental and Emergency Care Facilities
As part of ongoing healthcare upgrades, approval has also been granted for modern dental treatment facilities at the Harpalpur Community Health Centre in Hardoi district. Modern dental chairs and dental X-ray machines will be installed to enable advanced treatment of dental ailments. For this purpose, a financial sanction of ₹5.82 lakh has been approved.

In Kanpur, permission has been given to install a transformer to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the burn unit building at the Government Medical College. The transformer will be installed at an estimated cost of ₹29.28 lakh, ensuring reliable electricity for critical care services.

Postmortem Houses to Be Upgraded in Seven Districts
The state government has also approved the upgradation of postmortem houses in seven districts—Kannauj, Basti, Amroha, Sultanpur, Ballia, Bulandshahr and Ayodhya. These facilities will be equipped with advanced and high-end equipment to support modern postmortem operations. An administrative and financial approval of approximately ₹2.75 crore has been granted for this initiative.

These decisions reflect the Yogi government’s continued focus on strengthening healthcare infrastructure, improving diagnostic and emergency services, and ensuring better medical facilities for citizens across Uttar Pradesh.
