Ayodhya: Ayodhya transformed into a resplendent canvas of devotion and celebration as the moment of unfurling the saffron Dharma Dhwaj atop the Ram Temple’s towering shikhar drew near. PM Modi’s Address Resonates with Spiritual Fervour
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the stage, chants of “Siyavar Ramchandra ki Jai” reverberated across the atmosphere. In his address, the Prime Minister said, “Today, the whole of India is Ramamay. The entire world is Ramamay. Centuries of wounds are healing, centuries of pain are finding rest, and centuries of resolve are standing fulfilled before us.”
PM Modi noted that the hoisting of the Dharma Dhwaj marks a sacred milestone, symbolising sacrifice, unshakeable resolve and the timeless ethos of Raghukul, where a pledge holds greater sanctity than life itself. “This is not just a flag—it is the proclamation of truth, the purity of promise, and the first ray of a new awakening for India,” he added.

RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, visibly emotional, said, “Today is the day that gives meaning to countless lives. From Ashok Singhal to the innumerable devotees who sacrificed everything for this cause—their spirits must be at peace today.”
He added that the saffron flag, adorned with the ancient symbol of the Kovidar tree and the radiant one-wheeled sun, represents the timeless ideals of the Raghu dynasty—selflessness, endurance and unwavering commitment. “This is not merely construction of a temple—it is the spiritual resurgence of Sanatan Bharat,” he said.

The temple town dazzled with floral decorations, rangolis, earthen lamps and elaborate lighting. Every street shimmered, every wall seemed infused with Ram’s presence, and the air carried a fragrance of devotion.
Behind the Grandeur: The Unsung Workforce
While Ayodhya shone, its sanitation workers and sevadars worked tirelessly. According to municipal officials, hundreds of workers cleaned and decorated every corner since November 23, ensuring a spotless and divine ambience.
Robust Medical Arrangements
Three advanced life-support ambulances accompanied the PM’s convoy, equipped with specialists and critical care systems. At Shri Ram Hospital, ICU beds were scaled up from 10 to 40, with uninterrupted oxygen and power support.
15,000 Meals Served as Free Prasad
At the Maniram Das Chhawani’s Amavasya Temple, free prasad distribution began for visitors and security personnel. Over 15,000 meals were prepared on Day 1 alone, with three daily servings planned.
As the saffron flag fluttered high above the Ram Temple, Ayodhya stood not merely as a city of devotion—but as the living heartbeat of a civilisational moment India had awaited for centuries.
