Lucknow University Concludes ‘Guru Dakshata Program’ with Valedictory Session

Lucknow – The Mahamana Malaviya Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), University of Lucknow, successfully concluded its month-long ‘Guru Dakshata [Faculty Induction Program]’ (FIP). The program, held from September 1 to September 30, 2025, saw the participation of 25 newly appointed faculty members from various universities and colleges across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The valedictory session was graced by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alka Khanna, who attended as the Chief Guest. In her address, she congratulated the participants on completing the program and highlighted the role of teachers as “nation-builders, creators of knowledge, and lifelong guides.” She urged the young faculty members to uphold the values of academic integrity, inclusivity, and innovation in their classrooms.

Prof. Khanna also distributed certificates to the participants and commended the efforts of the MMTTC team for designing a comprehensive academic curriculum covering pedagogy, research, higher education policies, ethics, technology in education, and value-based learning.

Over the month, the program featured lectures and workshops by experts from diverse fields including education, law, sociology, science, management, and literature. Sessions explored themes ranging from education policy, public administration, and constitutional law to climate change, artificial intelligence in education, geospatial tools, and cultural heritage. The interactive format fostered knowledge-sharing, peer learning, and reflective practice among participants.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of resource persons and participants. The event reaffirmed MMTTC’s commitment to nurturing competent, value-driven educators inspired by the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
