LUCKNOW – A joint team of the Crime/Surveillance Unit, Eastern Zone, and Indira Nagar Police Station has successfully arrested two notorious chain snatchers responsible for a recent crime in the Takrohi area. The arrests led to the recovery of a stolen gold chain and a motorcycle used in the crime.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Ahan Ali (25) and Sahid Ali (23). According to police reports, the duo, who worked as incense stick vendors, had a history of criminal activity. A police spokesperson confirmed that the suspects were apprehended in connection with the recent chain snatching incident involving a woman in the Takrohi locality.
The police have recovered one yellow metal chain and a red Apache motorcycle with the license plate number UP32FR9796 from their possession. This vehicle is believed to have been used during the commission of the crime.
