Man Arrested for Fraud in LDA Housing Scheme Scam

Accused Caught for Duping People with Fake Housing Allocation Receipts

Lucknow: A man accused of defrauding people in the name of providing houses through the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has been arrested. The accused, identified as Mohammad Riaz, allegedly issued fake housing allocation receipts and swindled Rs. 2.9 lakh from unsuspecting victims.

According to police reports, the accused posed as a government employee and targeted innocent people by luring them into his fraudulent scheme. After deceiving his victims, he would frequently change his location to evade arrest.

The police had been tracking the scammer for a long time, and under the leadership of SHO Thakurganj, Shrikant Rai, the police team successfully apprehended him. Mohammad Riaz has now been sent behind bars, and further investigations are underway to uncover more details about his fraudulent activities.
