Thousands Visit ‘Swachh Sujal Village’ Exhibition to Learn About Water Conservation

Prayagraj: In the run-up to the grand Mahakumbh-2025, the importance of clean water has taken center stage. One of the key attractions in Sector-7 of the Mahakumbh area is the Swachh Sujal Village Exhibition, organized under the Jal Jeevan Mission. This exhibition aims to educate visitors about the significance of water in our lives, drawing thousands of people every day. On Wednesday, a large number of devotees and schoolchildren visited the exhibition to gain a deeper understanding of water conservation.

Schoolchildren Mesmerized by the New Bundelkhand Display

On Wednesday, teachers and students from Jayprakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Prayagraj visited the exhibition. There was palpable enthusiasm as they explored the various sections. One of the most impactful displays was the Bundelkhand section, which showed the stark contrast between the region’s water crisis in the past and its present success. Many children were moved by the images of Bundelkhand’s past struggles with water scarcity, and their faces lit up when they saw how the Jal Jeevan Mission had transformed the region. The new Bundelkhand model showcased the positive changes brought about by the mission, leaving the children with a sense of hope and inspiration.

Digital Game Zone Delivers a Water Conservation Message

Another highlight of the exhibition was the Digital Game Zone, which introduced children to water conservation through an interactive game titled ‘The Water Game’, designed by the Jal Jeevan Mission. The game was highly popular among the children, who played with great enthusiasm. In addition to the game, an Art Gallery showcased the journey of Jal Jeevan Mission’s ‘Har Ghar Jal’ initiative, educating the young minds about how clean water is being provided to households across India.

Children Take a Pledge to Save Water

The exhibition also featured a Water Conservation Pledge Ceremony, where children were not only shown the importance of water but were also encouraged to actively participate in its conservation. The children learned how they could contribute to water preservation in their daily lives, ensuring a safer future for generations to come.

Through this exhibition, the young generation is learning not just about the importance of water, but also how they can play a crucial role in its conservation, making it a memorable and impactful experience for all visitors.
