Bareilly: The Student Welfare Club of Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar organized a National Unity Day program on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary in which the students and employees of the institute took out a “Run for Unity” rally. This rally started from the administrative building of the institute and ended at the Sama University of the institute.
In the Run for Unity, the institute’s Joint Director, Academic, Dr. S.K. Mendiratta, Joint Director Extension Education, Dr. Roopsi Tiwari, besides heads of many departments, scientists, officers, employees, students and girls participated. This rally was organized with the aim of spreading the message of national unity of the nation builder Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and to inspire people to follow it.
Dr. S.K. Mendiratta, Joint Director Academic, on this occasion administered the National Unity Day pledge to the employees of the institute and told about the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in independence and nation building.
Joint Director Extension Education Dr. Rupsi Tiwari called upon the employees of the institute to take inspiration from the life of Sardar Vallabh Patel and adopt the spirit of harmony and brotherhood among themselves.
The program was conducted by Dr. Anisha and Dr. Mukesh Bhatt. On this occasion, heads of various departments, scientists and officers including students were present.
