Lucknow: The festival logo and festival poster of the world’s largest International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF-2024) to be organized under the aegis of City Montessori School was unveiled at CMS. A grand function was held at Kanpur Road Auditorium. Renowned folk singer Padmashree Malini Awasthi, who came as the chief guest, inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp and unveiled the logo and poster of the International Children’s Film Festival.
In her address on this occasion, Awasthi said that this Children’s Film Festival is the best opportunity for the children and parents of Lucknow, where they can enjoy free educational children’s films from different countries and can also get acquainted with the cultural heritage of different countries.
CMS 13th International Children’s Film Festival by the Films Division of CMS from 15 to 21 April 2024. It is being organized at Kanpur Road Auditorium. In this seven-day International Children’s Film Festival, 501 educational children’s films from 91 countries will be screened free of cost.
In a press conference organized on this occasion, CMS. Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon gave detailed information to the journalists on the objectives of the Children’s Film Festival. Pro. Kingdon said that this film festival is not just for entertainment but is an integral part of education, which will prove to be an excellent effort to develop life values and character building in the future generation.
Festival director R. K. Singh said that the International Film Festival is completely free for everyone. During the 7 days of Children’s Film Festival, leading personalities and child artistes from the film industry will encourage the audience, including Darsheel Safari (Actor), Dev Joshi (Actor), Talat Aziz (Singer), Sadiya Siddiqui (Actress), Bhumika Gurung (Actress), Jayant Giltar (film director) and Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma (writer) etc. are prominent. Singh said that in the International Children’s Film Festival, the best films under various categories will be honored with cash prizes of Rs 10 lakh.
