Top delegation from MP meets U.P. Governor

Lucknow: An 18-member delegation including Director of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India,  Manoj Kumar Verma, prominent journalists, editors and other officials of Madhya Pradesh met the Governor of the state Anandiben Patel here at Raj Bhavan.

During this meeting with the Governor, while answering various questions of the media representatives, the Governor shared his work and experience as a Governor in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

During the talks, the Governor discussed in detail about innovations, beautification works in the Raj Bhavan of Uttar Pradesh and the journey of making the Raj Bhavan a public building. While answering the questions of the journalists, he told about his works like improvement in the educational quality in the state universities of Uttar Pradesh, upgradation through guidance, direction and encouragement for national and international ranking, improvement in the level by providing Anganwadi kits for the Anganwadi centers of the state, adopting TB patients and making them disease-free.

In these discussions, various programs held in Rajbhawan were also mentioned, in which, along with national festivals, the Governor also discussed special training programs for women and children of the families of officers and employees working here from time to time.

It is worth mentioning here that special programs like computer training for children studying in Rajbhawan, training for making useful items from waste material, Chikankari for women, sewing training and Judo training, program for Shri Anna Vyanjan have been held from time to time with the inspiration of the Governor.

During the discussion, journalists, while focusing on the unprecedented work done in the state universities of Uttar Pradesh, upgradation to national and world-class rankings and various courses started here by joining with foreign universities, also described these works as inspirational.

The Governor also discussed about the improvement in educational quality in universities and the application of Artificial Intelligence.

During the visit to Raj Bhavan, the delegation of journalists was very impressed by the beautification of the renovated buildings of Raj Bhavan such as Art Room, Currency and Stamp Room, Public Room, Annapurna Hall and Tripti Room.

The delegation shared their experiences of visiting Uttar Pradesh state and Raj Bhavan with the Governor. They also showed special interest in the books published by Raj Bhavan and received a copy of the book ‘Hamara Raj Bhavan’ from the Governor, which comprehensively contains the details of the innovations of Raj Bhavan.
