The Watkar Sisters mesmerize all at Saharaganj

Lucknow: In the Navratri season a cultural program was  organized at Sahara Mall in Hazratganj, Making this festive weekend memorable, the Watkar Sisters from Nagpur – “Bhagyashree” and “Dhanashree” sang their famous bhajan ‘Hum Katha Sunate Ram Sakal Gun Dham Ki..’ and won everyone’s praise. Along with this, they also made everyone dance to the tunes of dandiya on the occasion of Navratri by singing “Hey Naam Re Sabse Bada Tera Naam O Sherawali”.

In this unique and grand event “Vijayadashami”, through various competitions, the visitors were also given a golden opportunity to win prizes. This entire event was conceived by Sunil Banka, Head of Saharaganj. The fashion show on the theme of Ramayana added to the attraction of this event. Team Dhanush came out on top in the Ramayana GK quiz held in this event. Everyone became a fan of the Indian cultural consciousness and knowledge of Devanjana, Devina, Atriya Kesarwani of Team Dhanush.

In the Dumb Charade competition, the participants presented challenges to guess the names of films and serials by gestures. In Draw on My Back, an interesting competition was held to guess the shape drawn on the back of the participants. In the Spot the Difference competition, one had to find the difference between two similar looking pictures. In the fashion show, participants from the age of 8 to 12 won prizes by walking the ramp in modern and traditional clothes in accordance with the theme of Ramayana. Labdhi Jain played Sita and Prakand Narayan Dubey played Ram. Both of them stood first and second respectively. Priyanshi got the third prize in this sequence. Along with this, Aadya Singh, Hetika Srivastava, Amar Chaudhary, Mahvish Hasan also made their impressive presence felt.
