Wild animals will be frightened by a mild electric shock and will be able to go out from there, due to which farmers and other people will be safe.

The life cycle is made up of humans and animals. Nature and environment cannot be protected without protecting the life cycle. Every animal is dependent on each other. We will have to move forward in the direction of protecting animals. Uttar Pradesh is the first state to have declared human-wildlife conflict as a disaster. Arrangement has been made for assistance in case of loss of life and injury due to human-wildlife conflict. The state government has arranged for assistance of Rs 5 lakh in case of loss of life. By declaring the death of a person due to snakebite as a disaster, an amount of Rs 5 lakh has been arranged. Arrangement has been made to keep anti-snake venom in every district hospital and community health center.

The Chief Minister said that a program was launched to increase forest cover in the state 7 years ago. The state government aims to increase forest cover to 15 percent by the year 2028-29. For this, a record number of tree plantation programs are conducted every year. So far, 210 crore tree plantations have been completed.

In the last seven and a half years, good results have come out in the state in planting these trees as well as saving them through public participation. Farmers were also encouraged for this. Many international organizations have praised this work of the state. Public awareness is required to save the planted trees, because due to lack of awareness, people uproot the planted saplings. Tree plantation program is not just a program, but an excellent way to save lives.

In the NCR region, burning of paddy straw from November to February causes smog in the environment. Due to this, respiratory and heart patients have to face problems and the environment is damaged. The courts constantly provide guidelines on this issue. Orders are issued by other judicial and quasi-judicial institutions. Bio-compressed units are being installed in the state for the disposal of paddy straw. Through this, the farmer can get the price of paddy as well as the price of straw.

The state government has made many programs in this direction by coordinating with the central government. The state government aims to install at least 100 bio-compressed units in the state. Some of its units have been installed and work is being done to install other units. He said that the Pollution Control Board and the Alternative Energy Department should make efforts in this direction, so that the state can play a leading role in protecting the environment and producing ethanol.

The Chief Minister said that extensive work needs to be done to stop illegal cutting of forests. There is also a need to stop illegal mining in forests, as it damages forests. Illegal encroachment by criminals who hunt wild animals will have to be stopped. After the training process, the newly appointed forest guards and wildlife protectors will also have to discharge this responsibility. The newly appointed forest guards and wildlife protectors can also play an important role in reducing the ill effects of climate change by working honestly. Large scale action has been taken against such people in the state. As a result, the forest cover in the state has increased and the number of other wild animals including tigers, leopards has also increased.

The Chief Minister said that the existence of most of the rivers providing the best source of water is seen in danger today. The Prime Minister had launched the Namami Gange program to make the country’s most sacred river Ganga uninterrupted. Its good results have come out. Through public participation, factories, municipal corporations and other institutions will have to be prepared to adopt efforts to make the rivers pollution-free.
