Lucknow: The Yogi government is showing the path to the students of backward classes in the state by providing them employment-oriented training. In this sequence, the online application process has been started by the government in the financial year 2024-25 under the ‘O’ Level and Triple C Computer Training Scheme for unemployed youth of backward classes.
The objective of this scheme is to provide better employment opportunities to the educated unemployed of economically weaker backward classes by providing them technical education. As per the eligibility criteria of the scheme, the candidate should have passed intermediate and the annual income of his parents / guardians should not exceed Rs 1 lakh. The training will be provided by institutions recognized by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). Documents have to be uploaded
State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes Welfare and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Narendra Kashyap said that interested candidates can apply online on the computer training portal https://obccomputertraining.upsdc.gov.in by visiting the website of Backward Classes Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh https://backwardwelfareup.gov.in till 12 August 2024. It is mandatory to upload educational and other required documents along with the application and the hard copy has to be submitted in the office of the concerned District Backward Classes Welfare Officer. Earlier the last date for application was 5 August 2024, which has been extended to 12 August 2024 in view of the interests of the students. After the selection of the trainees, their training will be started from 27 August 2024.

Director Backward Classes Welfare Dr. Vandana Verma said that the revised timetable is available on the website of Backward Classes Welfare Department and Computer Training Portal. With this initiative of the government, the youth of the backward class of the state will get an opportunity to become proficient in technical education and become self-reliant. It is noteworthy that the Yogi government runs many types of schemes keeping in mind the interests of the backward classes of the state. In this, along with financial assistance, they are also given training for the preparation of competitive examinations. Also, many training schemes and programs are available for backward class students, which help them in skill development and employment opportunities.
