The 3 UP Naval Unit NCC, Lucknow celebrated Navy Day-2025 with pride and patriotic spirit at the scenic Boat Pool, honouring the courage, commitment and maritime excellence of the Indian Navy, commemorating its decisive victory during the 1971 Indo-Pak War and the legendary Operation Trident.
The unit had the honour of hosting the Chief Guest, Commander Sumit Ghosh (Retd), decorated Submarine Officer and Naval veteran of Operation Vijay and Operation Parakram.
The Guest of Honour, Brig. Puneet Srivastava, Group Commander, NCC Group HQs, Lucknow, along with Commander Gaurav Shukla, Commanding Officer, 3 UP Naval Unit NCC, also graced the occasion.
The celebration featured a vibrant cultural programme showcasing the talent and discipline of NCC cadets. Performances included speeches, poetry recitations, solo and group dances, and melodious singing presentations by cadets reflecting the patriotic zeal and NCC spirit.
