Lucknow: The ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across Uttar Pradesh has been extended by one week. On Sunday, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Navdeep Rinwa announced that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has approved revised timelines for the state’s SIR exercise based on the qualifying date of January 1, 2026.
