Lucknow: The King George’s Medical University (KGMU) administration appeared to bow to the pressure of junior resident doctors following a heated protest. The agitation came after an alleged assault on nursing officer Shubham Rao by junior resident doctors in the Trauma Centre’s Orthopaedic Surgery Department on the night of September 20. According to reports, Rao filed an FIR at Chowk Police Station against nine junior residents under IPC sections 324(4), 191(2), 115(2), and 351.
