Lucknow: The fifth annual seven-day Ganesh Utsav has begun with great enthusiasm at Paltan Cantonment, Sector-A, Sitapur Road, where a grand idol of Lord Ganesh was installed on Wednesday. The ceremony began in the morning with Vedic chants and rituals led by Pandit Gyandev Bajpai. Amidst joyous slogans of “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” the idol of the revered deity was placed in a beautifully decorated pandal. Local children and young people came together to decorate the temple.
