144 Weeks, 144 Camps: Sarojininagar Sets an Example in Service, Dialogue and Solutions

Lucknow: Lucknow: The long-running public outreach initiative ‘Aapka Vidhayak – Aapke Dwaar’, led by Sarojininagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, marked a significant milestone on Sunday with the organisation of its 144th weekly camp. The event was held at Sarosa village in the Khushahalganj Mandal, continuing a streak of uninterrupted public engagement that has now completed 144 weeks.

During the camp, residents raised issues related to roads, pensions, and Ayushman health cards. Dr. Singh listened to their grievances and suggestions, issuing on-the-spot directions to officials for speedy redressal. One elderly woman also received her Ayushman card during the session. The initiative, built on transparent governance and effective communication, has steadily strengthened the trust of rural communities.

Health Services Expanded with Sun Eye Hospital: 50 Villagers Receive Spectacles

As part of efforts to ensure accessible and quality healthcare for all, a free eye check-up camp was organised in association with Sun Eye Hospital. After examinations, 50 villagers were provided free spectacles, extending the reach of essential health services in the region.

Honouring Excellence: Meritorious Students Celebrated Under ‘Gaon Ki Shaan’

To motivate rural talent, four meritorious students of Sarosa village—Vaishnavi Pal (89.2%), Nainshi Pal (81.3%), Neha Gautam (70%), and Dhoni Pal (58.1%)—were honoured for their academic achievements in High School and Intermediate examinations. They were felicitated with bicycles, wristwatches, and certificates, symbolising a push toward academic enthusiasm and healthy competition among youth.

Boosting Youth Power: Three New Youth Clubs Formed

Continuing the drive toward youth empowerment, three new clubs were formed in Sarosa—the 157th and 158th Boys’ Youth Clubs and the 93rd Girls’ Youth Club. To encourage sportsmanship, kits for cricket, volleyball, carrom, and football were distributed among the young participants.

Respecting Wisdom: Felicitation of Eminent Local Citizens

Several respected elders and community leaders—including Arjun Lodhi, Ishwardeen, Parvesh Kumar, Saheb Deen Gautam, Triloki Gautam, Fakire, Satana Devi, Bhai Lal Sahu, Sahdev Ji, Ram Sewak, Indrapal, Sheetla Prasad, Anand, Sarvesh Kumar, Kailash, Akash, Babu Lal, Suvasini, and Shakuntala—were honoured with shawls as a gesture of appreciation for their contribution to community life.

Nutritious Meals for All

All attendees at the camp were served fresh, nutritious meals through the Tara Shakti free kitchen, rounding off the event with a gesture of care and community support.

The 144-week journey of continuous engagement stands as a testament to the model of governance driven by service, dialogue, and timely solutions—one that continues to draw villagers closer to the democratic process and their elected representative.
