Professor Ravishankar from CSIR-CDRI bags another prestigious Fellowship

After INSA Fellowship, he has been elected as Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI)

Lucknow: The CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR-CDRI), Lucknow is proud to announce that after being elected as a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi, last month now Dr. R. Ravishankar, Chief Scientist, has bagged another prestigious fellowship in his credit. He has been elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) – the nation’s oldest science academy, established in 1930 at Prayagraj. NASI is a premier platform for advancing scientific knowledge, recognizing excellence in research, and fostering science-led development for the benefit of society.

This prestigious fellowship is conferred upon eminent scientists in recognition of their significant contributions to science and technology. Dr. Ravishankar has made outstanding contributions in the field of Biochemistry & Structural Biology, which have advanced the frontiers of drug discovery and biomedical research.

His election as a NASI Fellow is a testimony to his impactful scientific work and dedication to advancing research for national development. The recognition also brings pride to CSIR-CDRI, reaffirming its legacy of nurturing scientific excellence and innovation in drug research.
