Gonda: A financial literacy and awareness programme was organised by the CIEL organisation for teachers, trainers and employees of Jan Shikshan Sansthan/Deendayal Research Institute in Gonda.
The programme aimed to create awareness among participants about financial management, safe investment practices, savings, digital banking and measures to protect themselves from cyber-related financial crimes.
Addressing the participants, expert speaker Rajni Kant Tiwari stressed the importance of financial awareness in today’s rapidly changing economic and digital environment. He said every individual needs to understand basic financial planning, as regular savings and disciplined investment not only strengthen financial security but also help safeguard the future.
Tiwari provided detailed information about various safe investment options, insurance and pension schemes, precautions to be taken while using digital banking services and ways to prevent cyber fraud. He cautioned participants against sharing banking credentials or personal information through unknown links, unsolicited phone calls or suspicious messages.
He urged participants to remain vigilant while conducting financial transactions online and to adopt safe digital banking practices to minimise the risk of financial fraud.
Institute Director Jaideep Daudiyal described the programme as highly useful and said such initiatives would help employees and trainers make informed financial decisions and protect themselves against digital financial risks.
During the programme, participants actively interacted with the expert and raised several questions related to financial management, savings and investment. The questions were addressed in detail, helping participants gain a better understanding of responsible financial planning.
At the conclusion of the programme, institute officials and employees appreciated the initiative and emphasised the need for organising similar training and awareness programmes regularly to strengthen financial knowledge and digital safety among staff members.
